Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account reconciliation issues
- Process insurance claims and third-party billing submissions
- Generate monthly invoices and aging reports
- Collaborate with collections team on overdue accounts
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Train staff on billing system updates and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, Cerner, or similar billing systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding standards
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
