Responsibilities
- Manage the full revenue cycle, including invoicing, payment posting, and account reconciliation.
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and investigate outstanding accounts receivable (AR) to minimize bad debt.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and record-keeping.
- Process high-volume transactions with a 99.9% accuracy rate while adhering to company policies.
- Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and optimize revenue collection processes.
- Assist in the implementation of new billing software and update existing procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal/state billing regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
