- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through insurance verification and patient account reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and private payer regulations
- Generate monthly financial reports and aging accounts receivable analyses
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document services accurately for optimal reimbursement
- Train staff on billing protocols and system updates
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration, accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with proficiency in CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Expert knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
