- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries within 24 hours
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and NYS Medicaid guidelines
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports weekly
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document chargeable services
- Optimize billing workflows using Epic EMR systems
- Conduct monthly audits for coding accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in NYS
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Centricity
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage high-volume claims during peak periods
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
