Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, submission, and reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient/provider inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to optimize cash flow
- Collaborate with coding, insurance, and collections teams for seamless operations
- Utilize Epic and Meditech systems for accurate charge capture
- Prepare monthly billing reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or complex billing experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) or CPC certification required
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions with precision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
