- Resolve insurance claim denials within 48 hours using CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Reconcile AR aging reports and identify process bottlenecks
- Collaborate with providers to document charge corrections
- Conduct monthly audits for HIPAA compliance
- Train staff on EHR billing workflows (Epic preferred)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a clinic/hospital setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expertise in Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial payer regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 20%+
- Ability to process 50+ claims daily with 98% accuracy
