- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, distribution, and collection
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account reconciliation issues within SLAs
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure billing accuracy
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for billing data maintenance and reporting
- Conduct monthly audits of billing records and financial statements
- Handle patient/client billing inquiries with exceptional communication
- Prepare weekly/monthly billing performance metrics for leadership review
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in medical/corporate billing environments
- Proficiency in billing software (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and billing compliance standards
- Expertise in MS Excel with pivot table and VLOOKUP capabilities
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) or similar credential a plus
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 15%+
