Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including claim submission, follow-up, and payment posting
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through precise coding and documentation review
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify insurance eligibility and coverage details
- Generate monthly reports on billing performance and AR metrics
- Train staff on billing procedures and system updates
- Conduct periodic audits to identify process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration, accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes
- Proficiency in Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial accuracy
