Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 200+ healthcare clients including claim submission, payment posting, and account reconciliation
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and denials through meticulous analysis of insurance policies and contract terms
- Generate monthly financial reports and KPI dashboards for executive review
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture and documentation compliance
- Implement process improvements to reduce claim denial rates by 15%+ quarterly
- Conduct regular audits of billing systems to identify and resolve potential compliance issues
- Train new billing staff on company protocols and industry regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes and HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or similar EMR/RCM systems
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Experience working with diverse insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
