- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy across multiple payers
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct payer communication and documentation
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports and follow-up processes
- Update patient billing records in Epic EMR system with precision
- Conduct monthly audits of charge capture and coding compliance
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge completeness
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports for leadership
- Train staff on billing process updates and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Epic Resolute or similar EMR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA and CMS billing regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table and VLOOKUP capabilities
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance required
