- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account inquiries
- Conduct regular audits of billing codes and documentation
- Collaborate with insurance providers to expedite claim reimbursements
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Generate monthly billing reports for finance leadership
- Train staff on updated billing procedures and systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage high-volume deadlines with precision
- Experience with insurance claim appeals processes
