- Process and verify insurance claims with 99% accuracy using Epic and Medisoft systems
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct communication with providers and payers
- Generate monthly revenue reports and analyze aging accounts receivable
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing documentation and processes
- Collaborate with collections team to optimize revenue cycle management
- Train staff on updated billing protocols and CMS regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software (Epic preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Accounting preferred
