- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy and documentation
- Optimize billing workflows using Epic EMR and Medisoft systems
- Train staff on billing best practices and process improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with insurance claim processing
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent certification required
- Advanced proficiency in billing software (Epic, Medisoft, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- Proven track record in reducing claim denial rates by 20%+
