Responsibilities
- Process and submit accurate medical/invoices to insurance companies and patients
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account receivables through diligent follow-up
- Utilize Epic and NextGen EHR systems for coding and charge entry
- Conduct monthly audits to ensure compliance with billing regulations
- Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and claims status
- Prepare weekly aging reports and revenue analysis for leadership
- Train staff on billing protocols and system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or commercial billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential preferred
- Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and insurance regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error prevention skills
- Proven ability to manage high-volume accounts receivable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
