- Reconcile accounts receivable daily, resolving discrepancies within 48 hours
- Conduct patient billing audits using Epic EMR and Medisoft platforms
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document chargeable services in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports for executive leadership
- Train new staff on billing protocols and regulatory updates
- Manage denial appeals process with 90% first-pass success rate
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with Arizona Medicaid/Medicare
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EMR and billing analytics tools
- Demonstrated success in reducing denial rates below 5%
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
