Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately prepare and process invoices for clients, verifying all data before submission.
- Accounts Receivable: Monitor outstanding accounts, send payment reminders, and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
- Claims Management: Review and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and rejected claims to ensure maximum revenue recovery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and organized digital and physical records of all billing transactions and customer interactions.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize billing software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle) to manage financial data efficiently.
- Compliance: Ensure all billing practices comply with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or medical billing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with billing software is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors in data entry and financial statements.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
