Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve payment discrepancies
- Analyze billing data to identify process improvement opportunities
- Ensure HIPAA and ACA compliance in all billing operations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding and documentation
- Generate monthly billing reports for leadership review
- Train staff on new billing procedures and software updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR billing modules
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table and VLOOKUP capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
