Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and loan payments.
- Build lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and answering financial inquiries.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products, such as savings accounts and credit cards, to meet branch targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller workstation.
- Assist in cash balancing and daily inventory management to ensure audit compliance.
- Handle check cashing and currency exchange with strict adherence to federal regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in retail customer service is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle large sums of cash accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software.
