As a Bank Teller, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, handling cash transactions, assisting with account inquiries, and identifying opportunities to cross-sell our suite of financial products. Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with strict accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to resolve inquiries and account issues efficiently.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, issuing checks, and managing safe deposit boxes.
- Utilize bank teller software to update customer accounts and verify transaction details.
- Maintain accurate daily cash drawers and reconcile bank reconciliations at the end of each shift.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products (e.g., credit cards, savings accounts) to enhance customer value.
- Adhere to all bank security policies and compliance regulations to safeguard assets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in a cash-handling role is preferred but not required for high-potential candidates.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and high attention to detail to ensure error-free processing.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch operations.
- Familiarity with Windows-based applications and point-of-sale systems.
