Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to resolve account inquiries and issues.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, credit cards, and personal loans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment while adhering to all banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Assist in opening new accounts and explaining account features to new customers.
- Collaborate with the branch team to meet daily sales and service goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (speed and accuracy).
- Must pass a background check and credit check as per banking regulations.
