Responsibilities
- Execute daily banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering inquiries regarding account balances and services.
- Cash checks and issue money orders while ensuring strict adherence to security and compliance protocols.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile general ledgers at the end of each shift.
- Assist in cross-selling bank products such as credit cards and savings accounts to meet branch goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line to ensure an efficient customer flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or banking is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
