Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional assistance with all banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Accurately process daily transactions while adhering to strict bank security and compliance policies.
- Maintain accurate records of daily settlements and reconcile cash drawers to the penny at the end of each shift.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and mortgages, to meet branch sales goals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in branch operations, including filing, mail sorting, and maintaining a tidy and organized lobby.
- Stay updated on bank policies and industry trends to provide informed advice to clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in banking, retail, or customer service is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the branch.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills with a focus on data entry accuracy.
- Must pass a background check, credit check, and pre-employment assessment.
