Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting members, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Cross-sell credit union products and services, such as CDs, IRAs, and personal loans, to meet member needs.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and balancing of the teller drawer with strict attention to detail.
- Ensure strict adherence to branch security protocols and compliance regulations (BSA/AML).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional branch environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous cash handling or customer service experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to detect discrepancies and errors in financial records.
- Proficiency with Windows-based applications and banking software is preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
