Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process daily cash and check transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding accounts and products, and resolve complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Proactively identify customer needs and promote bank products such as credit cards, savings accounts, and mortgages to meet branch goals.
- Security & Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and internal controls to ensure the safety of assets and customer information.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Team Collaboration: Support the branch team in achieving operational goals and maintaining a welcoming branch environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus, but not mandatory for our paid training program.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Attributes: Must possess excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
- Background: Must pass a background check and credit check (where applicable).
