Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Cash checks and maintain a balanced cash drawer at the end of every shift.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to resolve inquiries.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as debit cards, savings accounts, and credit cards.
- Assist in the opening and closing of new accounts for individuals and businesses.
- Balance daily transactions and reconcile bank statements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior banking experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Familiarity with FISERV or similar banking software is preferred.
