Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service by answering questions and resolving account issues.
- Maintain accurate records of daily cash drawer balances and reconcile discrepancies.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customers' financial needs.
- Assist in the opening and closing of the branch, ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and other banking software with precision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in a customer service or banking role is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle large amounts of cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as part of the hiring process.
