Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries regarding account balances, services, and products.
- Cash checks and verify endorsements, ensuring strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile daily cash drawers.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our banking products and meet branch goals.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a related customer service role is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) banking software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
