Responsibilities
- Handle Transactions: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing for all customers.
- Provide Exceptional Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve account issues promptly.
- Cross-Sell Products: Promote and sell our financial products, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards, to enhance customer value.
- Manage Cash: Balance daily cash drawers to ensure 100% accuracy and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to all bank policies, regulatory requirements, and security protocols to protect customer assets.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain an organized workspace, update customer records, and assist with branch operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college in finance or business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform basic math calculations quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work a variety of schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Background: Must pass a background check and obtain necessary banking certifications.
