Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to resolve inquiries and build rapport.
- Proactively identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
- Maintain accurate daily cash drawers and complete end-of-day balancing reports.
- Assist with opening and closing accounts and processing new customer paperwork.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to count money quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
