Responsibilities
- Execute Daily Transactions: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for our diverse client base.
- Customer Engagement: Provide outstanding service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account-related issues.
- Account Management: Assist customers with opening new accounts, setting up direct deposits, and explaining bank products and services.
- Cash Handling: Maintain strict control over cash drawers, balancing daily reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to all bank security protocols and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations to prevent fraud.
- Product Promotion: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell our financial products to enhance customer value.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous cash handling experience or customer service role in the banking or retail sector is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency with basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
- Interpersonal: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Integrity: Must demonstrate high ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the branch.
