Job Summary:
As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of Horizon Community Bank. You will play a crucial role in building lasting relationships with our clients by providing exceptional service and managing their financial transactions with the highest level of accuracy and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries, product information, and problem resolution.
- Introduce and cross-sell our suite of financial products, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards, to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Maintain a secure and organized teller line, ensuring compliance with all banking regulations and internal audit procedures.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Assist in opening new accounts and processing required documentation for new clients.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience in a retail or banking environment is preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
