Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, checks, and electronic deposits.
- Verify customer identities and adhere to strict bank security and compliance protocols.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, product information, and financial services.
- Maintain accurate daily cash drawers and balance reports at the end of the shift.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services to meet branch goals.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the branch team to ensure a smooth and welcoming customer experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with financial software is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
