Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and check cashing for a high volume of customers daily.
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and services, and provide exceptional service at every touchpoint.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers, balance daily transactions, and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell our financial products, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards, to meet branch targets.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to all banking regulations, including AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies and security protocols to ensure the safety of funds and customer data.
- Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints and issues professionally, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Operational Support: Assist in the opening and closing of the branch, ensuring all lobby areas are organized and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or retail cash handling is highly desirable.
- Math Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to perform complex calculations quickly and accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on details and follow instructions meticulously to prevent errors.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic to intermediate computer skills and familiarity with banking software.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by the banking schedule.
