Role Overview:
As a Bank Teller, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their banking needs are met efficiently and accurately. You will work closely with the branch manager and team to maintain operational excellence and foster long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues.
- Open new accounts and assist customers with account maintenance and product education.
- Balance cash drawers and daily transaction reports to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Adhere to all bank security protocols, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in finance or business preferred.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a background check and credit check.
