Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions with precision including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Build trust by accurately resolving account inquiries and addressing client concerns
- Actively promote bank products and services tailored to customer financial goals
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with branch colleagues to ensure seamless customer service delivery
- Support branch operations through document processing and record maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience required
- Proven ability to perform basic arithmetic and financial calculations accurately
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Proficiency with banking software and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid North Carolina banking license or willingness to obtain immediately
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
