Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with a high degree of accuracy.
- Cash checks and verify collateral for loans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive customer service and financial advice.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all security and compliance protocols are followed.
- Assist with daily branch operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior banking experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with financial software.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
