Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments efficiently and accurately.
- Cash checks and issue currency to customers in exchange for checks, cash, or other valid forms of payment.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the safety and security of the branch, including monitoring surveillance cameras and access points.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized lobby and teller line.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or customer service representative preferred.
- Strong cash handling and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Fraud detection and risk management awareness.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with bank software (e.g., FIS, TellerWorkstation).
