As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for managing daily transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying opportunities to cross-sell our suite of financial products. If you have a knack for numbers and a passion for helping others, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and guiding customers through banking services.
- Cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), and credit cards to meet branch goals.
- Balance the teller line and cash drawer daily to ensure 100% accuracy and strict compliance with audit standards.
- Assist with new account openings and maintain the lobby area in pristine condition.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and financial advisors to provide a holistic banking experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of cash handling or customer service experience in a retail or banking environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle large sums of money with absolute accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
