Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile general ledgers to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding accounts and products, and provide exceptional service.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products to meet branch sales goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
- Assist with opening new accounts and processing necessary paperwork.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in a cash-handling role is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and banking software (e.g., FIS, NCR).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
