Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing superior customer service and financial guidance.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and personal loans, to meet branch sales targets.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues to branch management.
- Assist with opening and closing the branch, ensuring cash drawers are balanced and secure at all times.
- Maintain strict compliance with all banking regulations, security protocols, and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of daily reports and documentation related to branch operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or banking certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or cash handling role is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
