Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide accurate information regarding bank products, services, and account balances.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure financial integrity.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce new products to clients to enhance their financial well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming teller line area.
- Assist with opening new accounts and resolving complex customer inquiries efficiently.
- Adhere to all bank policies, security protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous banking experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and operate a computer terminal efficiently.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
