Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions including cashing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with high accuracy.
- Balance the cash drawer daily and report any discrepancies immediately to the branch manager.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries, product information, and general banking needs.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and meet branch sales goals.
- Ensure strict compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., BSA/AML).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous banking or cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Professional demeanor and a customer-first attitude.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with banking software (e.g., FIS, Symphony).
