Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service by answering account inquiries and resolving issues.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and mortgages, to meet branch sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and daily cash balances (telling drawer).
- Assist in opening new accounts and processing account closures.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and security procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve branch operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or Cashier preferred but not required (training provided).
- Strong mathematical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
