Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Provide exceptional service while identifying opportunities for cross-selling bank products
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and adhere to security protocols
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to branch management
- Balance daily transactions and prepare reports for audit purposes
- Assist with new account openings and basic account maintenance
- Participate in branch promotional events and community outreach
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Strong mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn banking software
- Must pass background check and credit check
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 lbs
