Responsibilities
- Process 50+ daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cash advances with 100% accuracy
- Balance cash drawers and verify transaction records at shift end to maintain $0 variance
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products (loans, credit cards, savings accounts)
- Resolve client inquiries regarding accounts, fees, and digital banking services
- Adhere to strict compliance protocols including BSA/AML regulations and security procedures
- Support branch operations by maintaining organized workstations and assisting with audits
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance preferred
- 1+ years cash handling or customer service experience in a regulated environment
- Proficiency with banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry) and MS Office Suite
- Strong numerical aptitude with ability to perform mental calculations quickly
- Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual required for El Paso market)
- Ability to stand 6+ hours daily and lift 10lb cash drawers safely
- Pass federal background check and credit check (no accounts in collections)
