Responsibilities
- Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and educating members on digital banking tools
- Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to strict security protocols
- Actively promote credit union products and services to meet membership goals
- Assist with new account openings and maintenance of existing accounts
- Collaborate with branch team to achieve operational and sales targets
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance financial knowledge and compliance understanding
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience required
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Familiarity with financial regulations (Regulation CC, BSA) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance a plus
- Must pass background check and credit union employment screening
