Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Provide superior customer service by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile the teller drawer at the end of each shift.
- Assist with branch operations, including opening new accounts, processing loan applications, and handling check cashing.
- Adhere to all bank security policies, compliance regulations, and internal audit procedures.
- Keep the lobby and teller areas clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in banking, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
