Your Role
You will ensure the smooth operation of the teller line by performing a variety of financial duties with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial transactions, including cashing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide accurate information regarding bank products and services.
- Identify and cross-sell appropriate banking solutions to meet customer financial goals.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily settlement reports with 100% accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller line area.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, including AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance.
- Assist in the maintenance of customer records and account documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required; prior banking experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in cash handling or retail customer service is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and POS terminals.
