Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.
- Maintain and update vendor master files and accounts payable ledgers.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly payment runs and manage bank reconciliations.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Oracle NetSuite preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of organization.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
