Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment authorization.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and maintain detailed, organized records.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs to ensure timely distribution to vendors.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and general ledger reconciliation.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or AP automation tools).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to meet weekly deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
